Kenmore Construction Co. and the City of Akron continue work on a full improvement project along E. Exchange St. between Arc Dr. and Fountain St.
During the first phase, work will be occurring on the north side of the road between
Fountain St. and Kling St.
Traffic will continue to be maintained in both directions during this work but merged into a single lane in each direction and shifted to the south side of the street.
Drivers are urged to use caution while proceeding through this area.
This first phase is expected to be completed by Friday, August 25, but the project as a whole is expected to continue through November 2024.
