I-76 to Vernon Odom Blvd

For the first phase of the Romig Road Improvements project, The Ruhlin Company and the City of Akron have closed the east half of Romig Rd., between I-76 and Vernon Odom Blvd.
Traffic will be maintained on the west half of the street, but funneled down into a single lane in each direction.
Beginning Monday, October 21, Grand Ave. will become closed at Romig Rd. and Kendale Dr. will be opened for residents to access Woodbirch Ave., Fawler Ave. Grand Blvd. and Central Ave. Detours are posted within the neighborhood.
The first phase of this project is expected to be completed by the end of November of this year and the completion of the remaining work is expected to be by May 4, 2020.
