Benefits to Akron Upon Completion of Work

The benefit of this project will be a more reliable and robust sanitary sewerage system. This will be achieved by replacing an old shallow sanitary sewer with a newly constructed much deeper sanitary sewer. The depth of the new sewer will reduce the risk of sanitary backups and allow for the future extension of sanitary sewer to the east.
