Tallmadge Ave from N Main St to Cuyahoga Falls Ave, and Vernon Odom Blvd from Ruth Ave to Rhodes Ave.
Starts: June 2017
Ends: September 2017
As part of the safe routes to school program, a road diet will be implemented along both Tallmadge Avenue and Vernon Odom Boulevard. These changes will provide safer, more calming traffic flow by creating a 'right sized' roadway which will also allow better options for cyclists and pedestrians. The existing four lane section will be re-striped to three standard width vehicle lanes with one through lane in each direction and a center two way left turn lane, as well as dedicated bicycle lanes.
Anticipated Maintenance of Traffic
Temporary lane and intersection closure for striping is anticipated.
